Smyrnium olustratum - One of those unusual green flowered plants - a medditeranean wild flower said to have been brought by the Romans as a herb, as it is related to things like Angelica and Sweet Cicely. It has the typical umbel flower and deeply-cut leaf, but is a more stout and stocky plant than many in this family, growing to about 3 feet (1metre).  It is very early flowering for this family (April) and has the habit of only growing close to the sea coast in North Wales - but may well take to other gardens or containers.
