Asperger’s Steampunk stories!
Since he was a baby, my eldest son (now 32) has always loved steam engines, gears, cogs and levers; we took him to all the railway museums, the hands-on science museums etc. for years before we found out he had Asperger’s Syndrome. He loved stories by Jules Verne and other Victorian Sci Fi, And when he discovered Steampunk a few years ago, I said ‘wow, but this was MADE for you!’ He has made a film on his YouTube channel to explain what Steampunk is and the history behind it.
Ashley has also written a book, for his final project at Art College, and received a Distinction for it. It is called ‘the Traveller’s Guide to Brasston – most cosmoploitan city 1850’ you can see more about it at https://www.facebook.com/Steampunk-Lego-comedy-Book-362412900882287
