Succisa pratensis The larval foodplant of the rare Marsh Fritillary, also great nectar for late season butterflies - making a field of purple dots in late August and September.
Notoriously difficult to grow from seed, which has to be sown absolutely fresh and stratified through the winter, so we only offer small well-rooted plants we have grown that way rather than seed.
Plug plants will be available in the spring
