Digitalis purpurea Hardy biennial
The old favourite wild pink trumpets on a tall spike
that flower in midsummer. Great attraction for
Bumblebees. They will seed themselves around
the garden in shady areas, but don’t become invasive.
All parts of this plant are poisonous. Sow seed in autumn.
