Old English Elm - Ulmus procera

This is the traditional big elm tree that was almost wiped out by Dutch Elm Disease in the 1970s; but luckily it is growing again from root suckers in our part of the country, and so we're able to propagate some. (limited stock) The tree is said to usually succumb to the disease again after about 25 years, but if we all keep growing it from new suckers then we keep the species going.
