This old cottage garden plant is sometimes known as 'Grannies' bonnets'. It is very promiscuous, meaning it cross-pollinates with every variety nearby, so you don't always know which variety the seed are going to grow into. But our seed are collected from some very dark blue/purple varieties that have always grown here, so you should get some plants of those. The others will be very pretty pinks and purples that all go well together.
bees love them, but butterflies can't get into them.
