A collection of 5 packets of seeds of flowers especially useful to different species of British native bees, as well as honeybees. There are some 250 different species of wild native bees in the UK that are not affected by the varoa mite (as honeybees are), and who also pollinate our food crops! (and they don't sting!) (Find out more in Jan's book 'Gardening for Butterflies, Bees and other beneficial insects', available from out Books section)
So growing flowers that bees especially love will help them live in and around your garden and pollinate your fruit trees, beans, peas and other veg. These are all collected by us from flowers we have observed attracting different bees, including Bumblebees and solitary bees, as well as honey bees; seeds included in the collection may vary depending on availability at different times.
