Hesperis matronalis
a biennial of the cabbage family, similar to Honesty, but tends to make a larger 'fluffier' plant with more pale pink and white flowers on a large head. It pumps out a gorgeous perfume.
Attractive to lots of butterflies and bees for nectar, and to Orange Tip and Green-veined white butterflies- the seed pods being the favoured food for their caterpillars.
