A mixture of seeds collected from our National Collection of this family, including the wild Hemp Agrimony and the tall deep purple American 'Joe Pye Weed'. Very attractive to butterflies and bees, these robust, clump-forming plants are popular amongst large grasses in prairie style borders. You may get all sorts from this mixture -please send us a photo if you get anything new!
The best way to get the seed to germinate is to put them in a seed tray of compost outside through the winter weather and they will sprout late next spring - but beware to protect against slugs who like the new shoots!
