Meadow Grasses, native
A mixture of fresh seed from our own old damp meadows which have not been a working farm since the early 20th century, so contain all the old native grasses needed by most of our brown butterflies as larval foodplants. Also needed by other insects. Includes; Cock's Foot, Annual Meadow Grass, Yorkshire Fog, Timothy, Soft Brome and others. Should be sown asap as grass seed does not remain viable very long. Protect from birds eating the seed before it germinates with fleece, twigs, netting. packet contain enough for 2 square metres (at least)
