Moschatel - Adoxa moschatellina
It's other common name is 'Town Hall Clock' because of the extraordinary cubic flowers, 'Moschatel' due to its musky smell. This is one of our woodland native wildflowers; a mat of shamrock-like leaves gives rise to these lime green flowers - only about 3 inches tall - each May, then dies down below ground for the rest of the year.
